A defined jawline gives the face support—in men as well as women, albeit with different objectives. Hyaluronic acid allows for precise contouring of the jawline, chin, and transition to the neck: more definition in profile, a clearer angle, and, if desired, a deliberately masculine emphasis.
What the treatment can achieve
- Definition of the jaw line in profile and frontal view
- Construction of a receding chin and harmonization of the profile
- Masculine contouring: more pronounced jaw angle, wider chin — measured and proportional
- Smoother transition at the onset of sagging along the jawline
What it cannot do: remove a double chin or tighten significantly sagging skin — other procedures are responsible for that, and if that is your concern, I will tell you about it in conversation.
Expiry and shelf life
After analyzing the profile, jaw angle, and chin, the procedure is performed using a needle or blunt cannula—a process that takes approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Firmer, shape-stable hyaluronic acid fillers are used, which last a long time in this area: typically twelve to eighteen months. The result is immediately visible; a final assessment can be made after two weeks at the included follow-up appointment.
Risks and side effects
- Swelling, pressure sensation and bruising in the first few days
- Tangible irregularities, mostly temporary
- Asymmetry — correctable during follow-up examination
- Rarely infections or vascular complications; hyaluronidase is constantly available in the office, the material is resolvable
Cost
Jawline, chin and contour treatments with hyaluronic acid – including targeted masculine facial contouring – cost 380 € Each appointment (approximately 25–30 minutes). The amount of material needed will be determined during the analysis—you will receive a specific cost estimate during the initial consultation. Overview at Prices.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does jawline treatment look natural?
With a moderate amount and correct level: yes. It becomes noticeable through overcorrection — precisely what the analysis of the entire profile, rather than an isolated spot, protects against.
Is the treatment suitable for men?
Absolutely. Male faces require a different approach—more emphasis on the jaw angle and chin width, no softened transitions. That's a key focus of this treatment.
How long will the result last?
In this relatively unmoved area, the healing time is usually twelve to eighteen months — longer than, for example, on the lips.
Is it possible to combine jawline and chin?
They usually belong together when considered: chin projection and jawline jointly determine the profile. Nevertheless, only what is actually necessary is treated.
What if I don't like the result?
Hyaluronic acid is associated with Dissolvable hylase. That's the safety advantage over durable materials — and one of the reasons why I work exclusively with them.
Is this a chin correction?
One Chin correction without surgery This can be achieved with hyaluronic acid – the chin is adjusted in length or projection. Often, a combination of chin and jawline treatment is beneficial, as this makes the contour of the lower jaw visible as a defined line. We will discuss whether chin, jawline, or both are suitable for you during your initial consultation.
